Not an agency.
A growth system
with one owner.
I'm Rao Muhammad Ali — an E-Commerce Growth Strategist who's helped 35+ Shopify and WooCommerce brands in the USA, UK, UAE, Canada and Australia build revenue systems that actually compound. Every project I take on, I lead personally. No hand-offs. No juniors. No guesswork.

"Rao treated our Shopify store like it was his own business. Sales improved, everything became transparent, and we finally understood what was actually happening."
"He actually understands e-commerce, not just code. Our WooCommerce organic traffic grew every single month after he restructured our SEO foundation."
"Checkout abandonment dropped in the first two weeks. Rao found what three previous developers missed. The ROI on this engagement was immediate."
How I went from building websites to building revenue systems
There's a specific moment every founder hits — when they realise traffic is not the problem. The system is. That realisation changed how I work, and it's why the brands I work with see compounding results instead of one-time spikes.
I started by building stores that looked great and converted poorly.
Like most people who start in e-commerce development, my first years were about craft. I learned Shopify and WooCommerce deeply — themes, custom code, app integrations, performance tuning. I got good at building stores that looked exactly like what the client asked for.
The problem? Looking like what the client asked for and converting buyers are two completely different things. I'd hand over a polished store, and three months later the founder would come back and say: "It looks amazing, but sales aren't moving."
That kept happening. And I realised the issue wasn't my code. It was that I was solving the wrong problem.
One client changed how I thought about every project I'd ever take on.
A fashion brand in the UK had spent £4,000 on Meta ads over 90 days. Traffic was solid. The store looked sharp. But conversions were stuck at 0.6% — and the founder was ready to quit.
I spent a day going through their store like a buyer would. Page speed: 5.8 seconds on mobile. Checkout: three extra unnecessary steps. Product pages: no trust signals, no social proof, no urgency. The ads were working perfectly. The store was broken.
"Running ads to a broken store is like pouring water into a bucket with holes. It doesn't matter how much water you pour in — you have to fix the holes first."
We fixed the store — speed, mobile UX, checkout, trust signals. Within 45 days, conversion rate was at 2.3%. Same ad spend. Same traffic. 3.8× more revenue. That experience taught me something I've never forgotten: strategy always comes before execution.
I stopped selling services. I started building a growth system.
After that turning point, I went deep on everything that drives e-commerce revenue — not just development, but SEO, CRO, buyer psychology, paid media, retention. I wanted to understand the complete picture so that every store I worked on had all the pieces working together, not just a beautiful design sitting on a broken foundation.
Over the next few years, I built that system through real projects — brands in the USA, UK, UAE, and Canada. Each one taught me something the previous one didn't. The system I use today is the direct result of 5+ years of testing what actually works.
I also built an in-house team to support execution — designers, SEO specialists, content writers — but I lead strategy on every single project. That's not something I delegate.
I take on fewer clients, and I go deeper on every one.
I'm intentionally not an agency. I don't scale by adding headcount and splitting attention across 30 projects at once. I work with a focused roster of clients — typically 6 to 8 at a time — so that I can give each brand the strategic attention it actually needs to grow.
This means I'm currently working with brands in the USA, UK, and UAE — across home decor, fashion, supplements, tech accessories, and more. What they all have in common: they're serious about growth, and they're ready to stop guessing.
If that sounds like you, I'd like to hear about your store.
What I believe about
e-commerce that most don't say out loud
These aren't services descriptions. These are the actual beliefs that shape how I approach every project.
I build around buyer psychology and conversion architecture, not aesthetics. The visual outcome is a byproduct of the strategy, not the goal.
I treat SEO like plumbing — invisible when done right, catastrophic when wrong. Technical foundations first, content second. Every time.
Before I touch ad spend, I need to know what happens to every visitor you already have. CRO is always step one, not step four.
Profitable ads come from a sharp offer, a fast store, and a tested funnel. I will never run ads until that foundation exists.
I start every engagement with a real audit — not a template, not a questionnaire. I need to understand your actual numbers before I say anything about your strategy.
SEO, design, CRO, and ads compound when they're built as a system. When they're disconnected tasks handed to different people, they cancel each other out.
5 years of work.
Real results to show for it.
These aren't vanity metrics. They're the outcomes that matter to e-commerce founders — revenue, conversions, and traffic that actually turns into sales.
International from day one. I've built revenue systems for brands across five countries, and I understand what builds trust in each market.
Time zones have never been a barrier. I structure every client relationship around their schedule — not mine. Calls at 9am New York or 7pm Dubai. Whatever works for you.
What it's actually like to work with me
Before we decide to work together, I want you to know exactly what to expect. No surprises, no vague promises.
Every engagement starts with a real audit
Before I propose a single thing, I look at your actual store data — speed, SEO, conversion flow, traffic sources, checkout abandonment. I need to see the numbers before I can say anything useful. You'll never get a generic proposal from me.
You always know what's being done and why
Every action I take comes with a reason and an expected outcome. You'll get clear weekly updates — not agency reports full of metrics that don't connect to revenue. If I can't explain why something will move revenue, I don't do it.
Fast communication, real access
You have direct access to me — not an account manager, not a ticket system. I respond within 24 hours on weekdays. Most clients say this alone is the biggest difference from working with agencies.
Timelines I actually hold to
I set clear timelines at the start of every project and I hold to them. If something unexpected changes the schedule, I tell you immediately — not the day a deadline is missed. Reliability is a competitive advantage I take seriously.
My non-negotiables in every client relationship
I've worked with enough brands to know what makes a relationship work well — and what doesn't. These are the things I commit to on every engagement, and what I ask of every client in return.
Skills, honestly ranked
I don't list things I can Google. These are the areas where I have genuine depth from real projects.
I work best with the right clients.
Here's how to know if that's you.
Being honest about fit saves us both time. Read this before you book a call.
We'll work well together if…
- ✓ You have a Shopify or WooCommerce store that's live but not converting at the rate it should
- ✓ You're ready to invest in growth properly — not looking for the cheapest option on Fiverr
- ✓ You want to understand what's being done and why — you're collaborative, not hands-off
- ✓ You're selling products people actually want — you just need the system around the store to work
- ✓ You're based in USA, UK, UAE, Canada, or Australia — or you serve those markets
- ✓ You're thinking long-term — not just trying to spike revenue for one month
We might not be the right match if…
- ✗ You're looking for the lowest possible price and not focused on return on investment
- ✗ You want results in 7 days — sustainable growth takes more than a week to compound
- ✗ You're not willing to make changes to your store based on data and strategy feedback
- ✗ You're pre-launch with no validated product — you need product-market fit before a growth system
- ✗ You want an agency experience — multiple contacts, big reports, lots of meetings, slow execution
- ✗ You're not open to honest feedback about what's actually holding your store back
